Tech Bulletin #06222020

The General Rule requiring that exhaust exit below the car has been dropped for all classes providing drivers with the flexibility for below car or side discharge. Cars must still have working mufflers and decibel readings must not exceed 100. Readings will be checked weekly.

The applicable rule has been updated in all Rules documents:

II. RACE RULES

A. Noise Abatement. There is a 100 decibel noise limit on all cars. NO EXCEPTIONS. All cars in all classes will have working mufflers.
